The first "John's" was, and is still
today, located at the corner of
Pennsylvania and Poplar Aves, in
Wayne. John Vesper Jr. began the
business as a corner delicatessen and
market. The deli came to be known
throughout the area for having the best
hoagies, and for offering only the finest
quality food at the fairest prices.
